Plymouth-Canton Steelers freshmen unit falls in final game to LA Hawks

Nov. 17, 2009, 1:15 p.m.

The Plymouth-Canton Steelers freshmen football team battled hard, but came up short in Sunday's WSJFL Super Bowl, falling to the Lake Area Hawks, 26-12.

Aaron Brazleton and Dylan Stackhouse scored the Steelers' touchdowns thanks in large part to the blocking of center David Dart, Jr.

Defensively, Jared Golles had a great game with several huge tackles and Luke Walkley did also did a fine job on the D-line.

The Steelers ended the season with a 10-1 record and a WSJFL Division A championship.
