freshmen gridders tie up Chiefs
The
Salem freshmen football team
battled Canton to a 20-20 draw Thursday night. The Rocks' three TD's
came from a one-yard run from Jordan Ciciotti, a 25-yard run from
Michael McNamara and a 35-yard pass from Jacob Deprez to John Malone.
Malone also booted a pair of extra points.
Both sides of the line played well for Salem, particularly
Cameron Werner, Danny Stropes, Nick Howie, Matt Grabowski, Tyler Gross,
Cain Smith, Terez Smith and Ciciotti. Kyle Cameron excelled on special
teams.
