Crocodiles extend winning streak
by putting the bite on Newburgh

  The Colony Swim Club's amazing dual-meet winning streak was extended following the Crocodiles' 234.5-165.5 victory over the Newburgh Sharks Tuesday night at Colony.

  The impressive victory kept alive an opportunity for the Crocs to complete a fourth-consecutive unbeaten season and win another Summer Independent Swimming League title if they can win their season-ending dual meet Thursday night at Fairway Farms in Livonia.

  The 185-member squad is coached by Ed Weber, Joe Le and Renee Nowaske.

  The Crocodiles will be competing in the five-team league meet this Sunday at the Livonia Rec Center. It is the first time the meet has been held indoors.

  Among the young athletes who excelled Tuesday night were the swimmers in the 13- to 15-year-old age group. Those athletes are listed below:
