Over 100 volleyball enthusiasts participated in last week's Canton volleyball summer camp.

  Volleyball fever was in the air in the Phase III gymnasium last week as 105 players participated in a week-long skills camp that was orchestrated by varsity coach Mary Kryska, junior varsity coach Steve Johnson, freshman coach Denise Miehl, assistant coach Mallory and returning alumni players.

  The camp was attended by players in grades fifth through 12th from throughout the Plymouth-Canton School District.

  The 2011 season is just around the corner as tryouts are slated for Aug. 11-13.

Players ranging in age from 10 to 17 participated in the Canton volleyball camp last week.

Players sharpened their skills in a variety of fast-paced drills.
